Our Origins and Objective

TRANSEARCH Asia - established in 1993 - is one of the region’s fastest growing retained executive search firms, with full-service offices in Hong Kong, China (Shanghai), Thailand, Australia; satellite offices in Beijing, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Singapore and sister offices in Japan, Korea, Malaysia, India.

From the outset, our specific objective has been to identify, select and secure for our clients the most professional, senior-level talent in the market. We now assist a range of market-leading, blue-chip, multinational and local clients in businesses where top quality executives are at a premium. TRANSEARCH Asia has been retained in the region by over 200 multinationals, most of which are among the world’s largest companies within their industries.

Our Geographical Scope

Our Regional Headquarters are in Hong Kong and our Shanghai office is the base for work in North Asia, principally in Greater China. Our Bangkok operation - which also houses our regional back-office - is the centre for assignments in South-East Asia, and we run assignments in Indonesia and Indochina with support from satellite offices in Singapore, Jakarta and Ho Chi Minh City respectively. Outside of Greater China and South-East Asia, we tap into the resources of 54 global offices of the TRANSEARCH network. Whatever the geography, our focus remains to deliver the most professional service in a timely, efficient and confidential manner.

TRANSEARCH Asia is the Partner for Hong Kong, China and Thailand of the TRANSEARCH (www.transearch.com) network of retained executive search firms, with our other Asia-Pacific network offices being located in Japan, Korea, India, Malaysia and Australia. Through this partnership, we have access to top-ranked consultants, research capabilities and the candidate universes in 56 offices throughout North and South America, Europe, Africa/Middle East and Asia-Pacific.

TRANSEARCH, incorporated in London, was founded in 1982 and is the 9th largest international executive search network in the world. Vincent Swift, CEO of TRANSEARCH Asia is also Chairman, Asia-Pacific of TRANSEARCH and a Director of the UK plc holding company.

Our Professional Standards

TRANSEARCH Wright Company is an active member of the Association of Executive Search Consultants (www.aesc.org), and our Consultants and staff are fully committed to upholding the AESC's professional standards and adhering to the codes of conduct.

From 2005 to date, we have been represented on the AESC’s Asia-Pacific Council, and from 2006-2008 Vincent Swift, CEO of TRANSEARCH Wright Company, was the elected Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Council. Additionally, in 2008 he received the unique distinction of being the first person from Asia-Pacific to be elected to serve as the Chairman of the AESC’s Global Board.
